I stumbled across this and thought it may be of some interest to those that have difficulty in buying firearms in the States. I carried a black power pistol at one time, actually my car gun, because if stolen it wouldn’t have been hard to replace. That was a repro .44 cal. on a navy frame and a bit cut down at that. This was a number of years ago before the Internet but I learned how to load it without the usual misfires encountered if a revolver if not fired the same day as loading. I am right proud of that accomplishment. I don’t know how long they would stay reliably loaded but I would change loads weekly and had had no problems. It was said that Hickok, who lived by his, would do so nightly. It’s been over two decades since I’ve fooled with firearms but was into them deeply. New products have entered the market since and I was amazed at the new offerings for black powder shooters. www.gunsamerica.com/digest/12-gauge-no-ffl-pistol-full-review-diablo-american-gun-craft/?fbclid=IwAR1P0oDev_jR5ny64nD5-8tEENbEulmVqnyD_1mrP6-ZsCq-pNFeYXqOaZc

I am going to have to do a better proof reading job, I found two errors, since corrected, but I think the message got through. Yeah that pistol without the right load packed a hefty punch at both ends.

Let's be real, it's a novelty gun...
But yes, I want one.

I think less than $500 is pretty competitive for a small company of machinists working in America making a novel product. They would probably have to make a large chunk of it out of injection molded plastic or outsource to Mexico to cut that price.

I was interested up until the part where I saw they were all muzzle loaders. I already have some black powder firearms, and I'm certainly not in the market for a short barrelled black powder shotgun pistol. Bleh.

Maybe a 'blunderbuss pistol'...and many wrist exercises to keep them strong for the crazy recoil.
