What a neat tool. I've never seen it before. Thanks. The Ravenna sword is a beast! I compared it to the Arbedo and black prince. It's a foot longer than the black prince. Seth, my Ravenna is maybe half a foot longer than my Hanwei Highland Claymore. Despite that, its much lighter, quicker, and better balanced. My MRL Zweihander is bigger than the Ravenna, as well as my biggest sword. Agreed, I really like this tool at My Armoury. Very interesting and clever. Maybe KOA would do a limited edition? I think I will send an email suggesting it.

I sent an email off to KOA. Maybe if the last special Windlass run did well they will consider it.

I sent an email off to KOA. Maybe if the last special Windlass run did well they will consider it. I've requested a few comeback swords to MRL personally on their Facebook page. They were always like, "we'll take it in to consideration." When they brought back their Shrewsbury, I commented that I wasn't interested in that sword, but encouraged by the fact they were bringing back some older models. They actually replied to me, asking which older models I'd like and if I could provide pictures. That was cool, them being more specific, and giving something more than "will consider." So, I gave them some names of older model swords and pictures. Maybe they'll take it in to consideration. If you think it worthwhile, you could do the same, using Facebook to bring up the idea or specific models. That's a cool picture you added from one of their older catalogs. That's the Ravenna! I really like the Ren War Sword next to it, too. That's another one I wouldn't mind finding somewhere some time in the future.

Very comparable according to the myArmoury tool. Now KOA really needs to reissue the Ravenna to save my wallet!

It's interesting to see that the Ravenna is also based on the original in the Wallace collection.
