Well, that would suck. It seemed real since all the items priced low followed a consistent theme and were at least priced at 30% instesd of $1 for a $100.
I haven't heard from them yet.

Amazon has crazy mistakes on pricing sometimes. I ended up with an item that normally sells for $100 for $1 with free prime shipping once. I was worried they'd cancel the order, but they didn't and shipped it anyway! I think the issue here is if the item is shipped from Amazon's warehouses or the seller direct. If the items are at the warehouse they may ship anyway since that's the price the seller set, error or not, but if its from the seller directly they'll have more control and likely catch an error, if there is one. Good luck y'all and I hope everything is in great shape for the lucky folks who snagged them! It could also be the sheer volume of the error. A small company can eat a single mistake (even a $100 for a buck...you lucky dog ), but maybe not an avalanche of tomahawks and machete...which makes a great visual, movie wise.

I just checked my order confirmation/tracking email, and my order is still up. No word yet. I'm not really gonna be upset if they DO cancel it. As long as I get a full refund. I'll check with my bank tomorrow and see if my payment has gone through. Bet your a** on that!

My credit card statement says the transaction is still pending. So, I haven't really been charged yet. I too won't be terribly upset if it gets cancelled. I bought 9 things, and had been thinking I'd gone a bit too crazy with it. Was considering canceling two or three of those items anyway. Now, I'll just wait and see.

Hey everyone. Received an email from Amazon today. My entire order was cancelled, due to a "Technical Problem." As many expected, it must have been a typo or something. Wasn't charged, though, so no harm.

Yup, same here. Oh well, you can't win 'em all. I suspect that the 'technical problem' was Amazon seeing all those orders coming in and noticed what was up, then going into panic-mode.

I also coincidentially ordered a pair of escrima sticks and a pair of axe gang hatchet trainers from midwayusa, which just arrived. They are awesome.

Regardless, thanks for the heads up Red, because it takes eyes on the lookout to spot and inform everyone to the potential deals that crop up. I think it would have been cool if they honored the mistake even if they were not responsible for the glitch, but I don't know the full economic gravity of the error and you don't want anyone going out of business. Man, I was kicking myself a bit for going to bed instead of ordering what I had in the basket...I mean TEN DOLLAR VIKING AXES (as much as the handle) and CUTLASS MACHETE...what the hell was I thinking when I went to bed?

I don't think Amazon gave a rip, but I'll bet someone had a really bad day at ESL Supply.

"Hey, Joe, take this list of products and reduce their prices by 10.13% to get them moving on Amazon"
Five hours later....
"What was I supposed to do with these? Right, I scribbled 10.13 on the corner. Select all, $10.13"

Right, I scribbled 10.13 on the corner. Select all, $10.13" That's about it...yeah. Amazon sure as hell wasn't going to eat the price difference. I'm not really bothered by it, but it still kinda pisses me off that a MULTI-BILLION-DOLLAR company can't stand by a F-UP and go out with honor. I don't think a few hundred bucks would put them in bankruptcy. Money is hard to earn, but a reputation is even harder. I'm not sure if this was a Amazon or ELS screw-up, but somebody should have made it right instead of wussing out and cancelling orders. Quote: Eric Cartman, from SouthPark---"This is Bull-S**t!"

The items were listed as shipped and sold from ESL, not the amazon warehouse. Amazon's only involvement was hosting the seller's listing. ESL probably could have afforded to make good on it but it would have hurt.

If anything, I'm grateful for amazon because I have zero doubt I will get a timely refund. Amazon customer service has always been great for me. I would be worried if I had made that purchase through ESL's own website.
