Yeah... plastic training weapons and blackened machetes are probablh the last thing that would be hurt by water. But I noticed that out of 10,000 different products, it was the weapons and tactical gear like Blackhawk that went on sale. Might just be a shift in focus.

I can't really even see much to go wrong with axes or hawks either. Maybe a little rust on the edges and *possibly* a warped handle, but all that is small stuff. Even if the handle is warped on the Viking hand axe I ordered (amongst other things), I'd still pay $10 just for the axe head alone. My wife will crap a brick when she sees all the stuff I got, but I'll just show her the order info with the total cost---as compared to buying it all from KoA or somewhere. Actually, the only NEW thing I got was a Bowie machete. Never had one of those...almost once though. I'll keep that in the car. The axe and hawks will prolly wind up customized and given as Christmas gifts.

How did you find that anyway? Just browsing Amazon? How ever you found it, I'm glad you did! Thanks again!

I was trying to compare prices on axe gang hatchet trainers between midwayUSA and amazon. Saw that the real hatchet was $10. Thought it was a typo at first... I wonder if we've overlooked other sales like this before?

Seems like I remember someone here getting a CS(?) sword from Amazon at an extreme discount due to a typo error. I don't recall anything like this sale ever happening though. I think this was a one-shot deal. I just know I'm happy to have gotten in on it. As of a few minutes ago, my order is still intact. My only real regret is that I didn't order more stuff that I don't already have! I'm not into Japanese swords, but a complete set of Kat, Waki, and Tanto machetes on a 3-tier stand would be kick-ass.

I did just the math... I paid $134.04 for a haul worth $378.46 at standard Prime prices (not full MSRP).

Unfortunately, they didn't have XL folders or swords, at least not when I got there

I paid $43.** for 4 items that would cost me that for one ordering from a retailer. God, I love Amazon. I know they put a hurt on retailers like KoA, but dammit, ya gotta save a penny when ya can. Just like when I bought my CS Viking Great Axe. I found it on Amazon for $82. I emailed KoA asking if they could match or beat that price...they could not. Sorry, KoA...gotta do what I gotta do.....

I saw the deal and put the Norse, Viking, Cutlass in the basket and went to bed. I have so much stuff like that that I just couldn't pull the trigger. For a good self defense option the Viking axe and Cutlass are probably the best deals in the history of the internet.

I heard that they made an error in the prices and that they're refunding all the orders. Can anyone else confirm this?

Yeah mine still hasn't shipped. Wouldn't be surprised if they cancelled these on us.

My stuff is still on order, but hasn't shipped yet. Says it will arrive by Thursday the 26th-Tuesday the 1st. I just figured it was the weekend delaying shipping. If they cancel, that will be a mega-bummer. As long as I get a refund....

I saw a snap someone took from an email they received from ESL, and then the subsequent comments on that snap were people also saying once they emailed they were told all orders were canceled due to the pricing being some kind of error

Amazon has crazy mistakes on pricing sometimes. I ended up with an item that normally sells for $100 for $1 with free prime shipping once. I was worried they'd cancel the order, but they didn't and shipped it anyway!
I think the issue here is if the item is shipped from Amazon's warehouses or the seller direct. If the items are at the warehouse they may ship anyway since that's the price the seller set, error or not, but if its from the seller directly they'll have more control and likely catch an error, if there is one.
Good luck y'all and I hope everything is in great shape for the lucky folks who snagged them!
