By my count, that leaves: (1) Norman with a Light Brown Grip, Satin fittings (4) Oakeshott with satin fittings: - (1) Oxblood grip - (1) Light Brown grip - (1) Dark Brown grip - (1) Black grip I never got to handle an Oakeshott, or its' sibling, the Chevalier, but I certainly find the hollow-ground, fullered blade fascinating! It appears there was more than one black-gripped Oakeshott with satin fittings in stock, as that is still showing up as "In Stock" on the website, despite a forum member noting that they bought one. So yes, all of the above appear to still be in stock, along with: (1) Count-- Bronze pommel, Antiqued fittings, Black grip.

Interesting KoA orders so many oakeshotts, doesn’t seem like a super popular model. I’m praying for a Squire to show up

There's also a Count with Bronze pommel, antiqued guard, and Red grip. Just added. And now...also just added, two Ringecks with satin fittings, one with Red grip and one with Black grip A satin n oxblood Knight, a satin n black Kingmaker and a satin n light brown Berserker just showed up, too.....It's on, kiddies! I love a good re-stock.

It's a shame about that one Count. I can't imagine a shiny new bronze pommel and a fresh new "bright red" grip looks very good alongside a faux "pitted and grey-patina'ed" guard with severe pockmarks in it. The guard on the Count is fancy and intricate, with carefully beveled edges and intricate designs cut into it. It wouldn't make much sense for the guard to be the only piece on the sword that looks like it somehow spent the last 50 year at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.
If that guard was satin, I might've grabbed this one.

And it's harmless when the blade is pristine. It actually gives it a really unique aesthetic.

And it's harmless when the blade is pristine. It actually gives it a really unique aesthetic. I could see that being the case, and I did like the antiqued fittings on an Oakeshott arming sword that I saw for sale, which livened it up a bit aesthetically. I just thought it to be a weird application on a Count, where the sword has a minty bronze pommel on it at the same time. Perhaps a bit of a mismatch. The more bland of a design the guard and pommel is, and the more antiqued the grip leather looks, the more likely the antiquing of the fittings would probably work, for me (with the exception of some viking swords, which would probably look great with it no matter what). I'm toying with trying the antiqued fittings out on a Crecy sooner than later, maybe along with a spiral underwrap grip in oxblood.

That Kingmaker didn't even last 7 hours.

That Kingmaker didn't even last 7 hours. Christian Short sold one in the classified for 200 under retail very recently, I was just about to reach him about that before it sold to try and nab it. But someone got to it first haha. Green grip too, looked awesome.

Hmm. Tyrolean in green. Very nice. I wonder if the demi-scabbard is green too?

Tyrolean and Thegn added... Thegn antiqued with blue grip? Gross. Yes, agreed. And then a Thegn with a black grip popped up. And I grabbed it.

My Caithness is a very dark blue, so I'd have to see the Thegn before completely dismissing the color combination.

I keep hoping that a Gaddhjalt pops up. I've been wanting another single-hander with longer reach, to keep my Oakeshotts company, and a brazil nut pommel would also be a welcome addition to my collection.

It's more the antique fittings than the blue grip. I'm sure blue would look good with satin or blued fittings. I think that the antiques fittings would look odd with the silver accent wire on the pommel, especially since it would be pristine against the pitted surface of the pommel.

It receives a variety of accolades from industry pros. The gadd and the jarl are two swords I'll be hunting down on KoA like Pavlov's dog. They're both overdue in my collection. I don't think I'd balk at a Vigil if it popped up, either.
