Well I've been looking for a nice Iaido and have been looking for a Paul Chen one and finally found a site with some low prices on the Gorin.
Anyone familiar with Bladecenter.com or Ironcityblades.com?

Some of their prices are quite good, actually. Especially on the iato. The nearest competition I can find on any of my usual sites is at Swords of Might. The Gorin Iato on Bladecenter is a mere $252, versus SoM's $260. Kult of Athena, Arms of Valor, and Reliks don't seem to stock iato, so that comparison is out. By the Sword wants $350+ for the Gorin. ironcityblades.com is apparently under construction? So can't say about that place. Overall, not a bad deal. $10 is $10, after all, but I'd check on shipping quotes and possible taxes. Never know and such. I'd give bladecenter a shot. They've got the lowest price on Hanwei's Kami I've seen, too, beating out Swords of Might by $2. Every little bit, though, eh?

Thanks for the reply I guess I will have to give them a shot since my teacher cannot get me a discount of that large XD Though its always nice to be careful since i've never seen anyone refer to these sites before.
Gorin retails for $419 in the Cas Hanwei catalog i'm reading now.

Never hurts to try a new place. Worst thing that happens is nothing, and you get your money back. Sounds about right. They always list so much higher there, for some reason. I guess they deal primarily in bulk shipments? Let us know how it goes. Again, worst that could happen is nothing; then get your money back and go with Swords of Might or something. Difference of a few bucks and a more well-known site/dealer.

I didnt even think of doing that before If they do accept the price difference it will be nice because I won't have to worry about customer service if anything goes wrong.

I also completely forgot that SoM has a 5% discount for SBG members. That switches things around.
