That was really satisfying to watch. I can't help but notice a chunk missing from your post, was that a casualty of practice? ;p

Haha thank you sir. Im truly flattered. ImI've had quite a bit of practice trying to get as many cuts as I can out of a gallon of water. I usually like to start with just the cap first and work my way down to get 4-5 cuts out of 1 gallon. I'm alot more accurate usually. But I liked this one because that grosse messer is nearly 4 pounds and it can be tricky to cut like that with such a heavy blade. I'm most accurate when using my super light, and agile type 16a darksword armory medieval knights bastard sword. I got so many videos of me chopping caps off. I appreciate that though. I'm sure my technique is a little sloppy and unconventional but its what seems to work best for me when cutting. Been trying to work on footwork, keeping a proper distance, and cutting at the center of percussion. I love cutting but I do wish I could do more hema sparring with actual people, and a little less cutting but cutting, flourishing and practicing moves in the bind while shadow sword fighting is all I got right now. I could probably do better but I was very satisfied with my last cuts with my c.steel messer. I have alot more videos to come. Alot of them were made last year. Some were made a couple months ago. Lots to come though. I love cutting and chopping stuff 😁

That was really satisfying to watch. I can't help but notice a chunk missing from your post, was that a casualty of practice? ;p Haha thank you, I hope so, because it was very satisfying to watch for me, considering they were my last cuts with old faithful before having to ship her out today. Lol yes the chunk of vinyl missing from the post is a casualty of practicing. But it actually wasnt me that took that chunk out. My skills are too sick. It was my bestfriend who took the chunk out with grosse messer. My friend who lives in cali, was living at my house for a couple weeks, and he wanted to spin the spear, and cut stuff with the spear and the messer. I tought him my way of cutting and to my surprise, his cuts were actually very impressive. He got addicted to it, started cutting all my bottles everyday, and one day he came in kinda abruptly after only a couple mins of cutting and I didnt think anything of it until i went outside a few hours later and found the chunk of vinyl missing lol. I havent brought it up to him yet, but it's no big deal, I still have the piece that came off, I'm just gonna weldbond or epoxy it back to the vinyl on the post lol. I'm building a super heavy duty cutting stand right now to avoid damaging the post lol. Cutting on that pist leaves little room for error when trying to do alot of different cuts. You have the handrail there, and also the vinyl on the post, and the combination of trying to avoid the handrail and trying to avoid vinyl on the post makes it somewhat awkward when trying to make clean, accurate, powerful cuts. I like the challenge but after my friend cut that chunk off, I decided no more cutting on that post. I broke my own rule today because I dont have my cutting stand finished and i only had 1 water gallon left, and I had to pack the sword up and drop it off at post office before 5 so I didnt have a choice and I had to cut off the vinyl post so I could get the sword shipped out today. I was trying to hard to avoid doing my last cuts on that post, but I wouldnt have shipped the blade today had I not just said screw it and took the risk. I'm glad I decided to cut off the vinyl post today because the video actually turned out good, and as you said, it was very satisfying. Its exactly the cuts I was hoping to make before I shipped the blade. Thanks alot though man, I really appreciate it..lol more to come. I posted like 2 or 3 already just a few days ago. Watch me with the darksword armory type 16a bastard sword. That's probably the sword I'm best with when cuttin The thread with 4 or 5 of my youtube videos is called "haha I'm so cool" check em out brother 😎

That's a cool story. Lose a post, gain a bottle-cutting brother And your environment raises some interesting thoughts about cutting in a... "challenging" environment After work I'll seek out your cutting videos, thanks for the heads up.
