Hello Guys, I'm the new one. My name is Thomas, I am Reenacter (12th and 13th century) and I collect arms and armor according to historical sources (9th to 17th century). I'm here to look around. I'll keep an eye on the marketplace here. Here's a little insight into a part of my collection for you. best regards, Thomas Attachments:

Thank you all for your welcome. Here's another little insight into my armory. You see the evolution of european knight helmet, around c.1100 to c.1300. All pieces are based on sources. My medieval library is also visible. In the background is a part of the high Middle Ages swords and falchions. Attachments:

Wow...just wow. Very nice...I'm impressed. So does the collection room have it's own name, like 'The Sword Cave'?

I thank you guys. I simply call my room armory or kemenate. In this picture you can see three lances. All three are interpreted according to contemporary sources (12th and 13th century). They are sharp and pointed. Attachments:

Thomas: Hello and Welcome:---Thanks so much for showing these; You have a unique and Diverse(varied) collection. (and that is a very good thing :) You and I seem to have very similar tastes Esp. In the High Medieval Era. And even More so in those Early and Proto Early 13thC.Great Helms( I could not see clearly if you had any Late 12thC. Fixed visor type?/ as like on A Phrygian Helm for Example types If so( one of those/or of the many variants types)- That would be a truly excellent addition to your already fine collection.
Even more so the excellent rack of swords on you Aug,19th post-- Please tell me on the Right-Hand column Second from front-- im Fairly sure that is based on the Royal Armories piece(Aka. type XIV.2 in Oakeshotte's Records) if so that is one of my all time FAv.s for its highly unusual and unique look(The Hilt Foremost) Is that the one made by Maciej Kopiuch? if not could you please tell the maker and would it be possible to get some more pics all around of this sword,Please. Also the fourth from Front Right-hand side Type E or D-pommel? it appears to be withe the Type F-pommel to its Left and the Type P-Pommel sword Two-Behind That one-- I would greatly appreciate it if you could share with us some more detailed pix of these in Particular Pieces and the many others sometime in the Near-Future! I am very enamored with your choice of the more Atypical and Unusual types ( glad we seem to enjoy the same things in Arms and Armor:) I very much Hope to hear back from you and Interact with you in the Near future, You are most Appreciated here. Kind regards Jon PS: when I get my Blade-Smithy going/Up and running again (Likely , to be soon in the future)- Several of those types mentioned Above, I hope to be crafting some Not-to-Often seen pieces Inspired by some of the same.
