Very nice! I like the menuki selection also. I have a Wakizashi done in jabara-maki that is falling apart. Sounds like it is a pricey job to have re-wrapped and takes quite a bit of skill and patience to do well.

Cool! The 'interwoven' crossovers are very interesting, reminds me of some of the 'tightly knit' wrapping techniques I've seen on Chinese styled wraps. How's this style hold up to use? It's a very interesting take. Although that menuki seems like it might wiggle out of place...that's just me though, very unfamiliar with this style. Very cool theme too, by the way. You seem to use consistently tasteful samegawa, which looks particularly choice with the color scheme.

This is ajiro-kumiage-maki jabara. It is made according to the standard. However, for hard work in dojo, kata-hineri-maki is definitely better . Thank you for your good words. I will show the final effect soon.
