sbg-sword-store.sword-buyers-guide.com/product825.htmlI'm looking for a Jian and this looks like a very good deal, but one of the things i wonder about is that the handle will be slippery if your hands start to sweat. Another one i've been considering is the Scott Rodell jian, it's a lot more expensive but it looks really well made. i wonder though how these handle wraps hold up overtime.

That's a pretty jian, but I have zero experience with it. The Scott Rodell cutting jian, though, is amazing and a heck of a good sword. I love mine...great cutter. I also live the way it looks.
Hopefully someone else will have both and can compare them.

I've cut with it many a time and it's still perfect. I don't know for sure, but it may be glued down as well as very tightly wrapped.
