that looks like the windlass mercenary sword they offered back when LOTR was just out i believe its a tribute to Boramir . i have the one that DSA made. i like it so much more with the brass guard and pommel , i may gey it too, didnt know anyplace still sold it. if you do get one i would say get the fully heat treated one as it seems they sell one that is functional and one that may be a wall hanger

I too have been eyeing this sword. But I've been finding better deals like the sword of reynald for 99 dollars, I thought the price was supposed to be going up on swords ? oh yeah...get it.

It is a nice-looking sword. Tough to find specs on it, but I would guess it to be a little over 40"(?) given it's hand-and-a-half type handle. Have you emailed them about the specs? They might be able to get them to you e-mail faster than they can update the site with them. $139 for the tempered blade would be a better value than an un-tempered one, I would think. Post back if you get them.

$139 for the tempered one sounds like a solid deal. Strongblade is known to make some strong, (hence the name I guess) cheap swords.
