it all points towards that, but knowing windlass it will be some random sword they have too much stock of, the robin hood sword would be really neat tho

I'm thinking of maybe a separate thread to this, but on the same lines. Call it, maybe the . "Windlass Wonder Weapon of the Week"---because we all wonder what the hell the weapon could be. (?) Anyone that wants to actually do this...be my guest. It was just my suggestion...but I get credit for coming up with it. Nyaaaahhhh....

Good idea, had it too, it's fun. What's your opinion demonskull ? Some fun in the DoD thread or in an extra thread?

9/17 Sugarloaf Helm $ 129.95 www.museumreplicas.com/knights-templar-sugarloaf-helmDon't forget the promo code SBGVIP for that additional 10% off Regarding the guess the Weapon this week question: considering I don't remember the last time anyone got it right ( ) I don't think it matters if it's posted here or a new thread. Personally I think the folks at MRL look here to see what not to offer as the DOD on Fridays.

This is a relatively new item in their catalog, but does anyone own it?

This is a relatively new item in their catalog, but does anyone own it? Probably not....because MRL does not own a measuring tape to give accurate measurements. Armor---especially helmets---is NOT 'one size fits all'. That's the main reason I've never bought much from them...very vague measurements or their phrase '...fits up to about...'. WTF?

I suspect there is much non-uniformity in their helmets and they don’t take the trouble to sort them out and to state a size would be hit or miss proposition.

I suspect there is much non-uniformity in their helmets and they don’t take the trouble to sort them out and to state a size would be hit or miss proposition. I would be inclined to think the exact opposite. Windlass should have more uniformity than some of the other India-based armor makers out there. After all, they are one of the most highly recognized makers in the 'low-end' of the field. I like Windlass products...I really do. Almost everything I've ever gotten from them has been top-notch, but I can't do helmets or footwear based on such basic measurements. That's something I'll leave to the guinea-pigs. I'll almost bet that if KOA starts selling that helmet, they will give more details as to sizing. The last helmet I got from them was a Deepeeka, and the measurements on it were exactly what they stated in the description.

Best hurry! They're showing ONE in stock! MRL is getting reeeeally desperate. If they have the Accolade sword or the Pole-axe as a weapon, that might ease the pain.
