Seaeching for swords I purchased. Pam Look at the thread above regarding posting pictures. You can upload to a third party and post links or use tags to show them here. I really don't like blind mans bluff and twenty questions, so simple stuff like photos and dimensions can help.

W#welcome aboard Examples and condition determine any value. There are many different types. See the thread listed above for how to add images. Without an exacting description , or good photos, all we have is a single sentence, offering no clues. Sold listings at ebay can be a decent guide.

I have also received a sword from my grandfather that was made by pettibone bros and I can't find any information on it at all. it has the name Frank Brewer on it an I can't find anything about him that would connect him with the sword. If someone with knowledge about this has any info that would be great. Thanks.

I've aquired a pettibone bros sword at a garage sale. I've read up on the company history but am not able to find much. My sword is in great condition. It's not sharp in the least and was obviously used for some ceremony or dressing up. It has an illuminati eye on the hilt and it says Walter Dale on one side of the blade. On the other side of the blade it has what I'm assuming is an acronym for something. The uppercase letters G or C, I can't tell which, O, O, H, F; G.H.O.O.F; or C.H.O.O.F. I can't tell which. On the blade design it also has three arrows wrapped in a ribbon, an axe threaded through a chain, and a serpent on a cross. Just wondering if anybody knew anything about this particular sword or its owner or basically anything about it. Thanks!

I inherited a sword last month. All I know is Pettibone is the manufacturer. It is curved, not straight. I'm hoping somebody might know an approximate value. I have a photo but not sure how to attach it here. Thanks

Attached are pictures. Now, I do understand, since I know nothing about this, that it may not be 100% legit. But again, just trying to find out information to pass to my grandfather about his dad My family has a very similar one only with a black handle

I also inherited an IOOF sword made by the Pettibone Bros. Mfg. Co. in Cincinnati, OH. It, too, has the name engraved on it of someone who is not a known relative. The hand guard (probably not the right word) is quite different from the pictures I have seen on this website.
