Yes, another funny stupid Andi-question! For those who don't know: "Stormbringer" is the sword of a fantasy novel hero named Elric of Melnibonè (perhaps the author Michael Moorcock misspelled Melbourne) which eats the souls of the persons killed by it (not only enemies) and gives unnatural power to its a bit anemic wielder Elric. Nevertheless: Do you have swords which make you feel like they infuse power into your arm and body when you hold'em? There may be objective better swords in your collection, but that's an emotional thing. For me: My Gen2/LA Maintz gladius: My first sword at all, much bigger than expected from a shortsword. My Gen2/LA River Witham Viking Sword: A real beast that made me growing stronger. My Hanwei Tactical Katana: Don't know why, balance? Just feels so good. My ZT D'Capitan. Makes me feel hailing a zombie akopalypse. You?

Perhaps you grip the wrong end of Stormbringer!

Simple answer this one though that might change if the other one ever ships. Raven Armouries Stormbringer, next to my Odin's Oar.

I've heard raven armories has crazy wait times, like multiple years. How Was your wait/how do you find the piece?

Not a sword, but the discontinued Windlass “Historical” Thor’s Hammer makes me feel like a god when I grip it. I use it as a metric to judge my workout progress!

Edelweiss, those spadroons are beyond what I’m able to find words for…
In terms of “stormbringer feelings” my H/T EMSHS and CS English Backsword are the top candidates as far as swords go. Otherwise I`d say my MDM “Vikings/Ragnar” style axe is my top pick in that category. And my Windlass Horn Handled Bowie.

I spell "stormbringer" with the letters R-P-K. That's all I'm saying for now...

I've heard raven armories has crazy wait times, like multiple years. How Was your wait/how do you find the piece? The sword is exceptionally well made, but with wait times now at 8 years and counting, I would not recommend them.

While swords like Danu and GSOW feel like they can cleave a man in two, I feel the most comfort with Pheonix King. It's light and agile, so I would never have to feel slow to respond, it has a very protective guard and a very sharp blade. I am most trained with katana, so this one feels natural, plus it can be used one handed, very easily, like a sabre.
Based on Matts tests, the sword should easily hold up to most things I could need it for. Though, due to being DH it is more likely to take a set.
If I had to fight a competent swordsman, it's my first choice. But if I was against hordes of zombies or monsters, then I would prefer my GSOW or Dojo Pro
Danu has some wicked piercing potential tho. More than any other sword I own

A really interesting thought: which sword seems to radiate power when you wield it. For me, what immediately springs to mind is my kanmuri-otoshi from Huawei, as it just feels like it means business despite being pretty light. It'd be my go-to sidearm for any combat scenario since there's no fancy folds that'd get mucked up. Plus the sword's thirsty: it nicked me a couple of times. "Tora no Tsume" was a perfect name for it, come to find out. I was immediately taken by my Hanwei Orchid, it just feels absolutely perfect to me in every regard, so that's another worth mentioning. Plus, it doesn't seem to bite the hand that swings it. It doesn't make me feel like charged so much as calm, in an "this will end quickly" sort of way.
My Hanwei Bushido also seems to instill a sense of power, similar to my shinogi zukuri by Huawei. Both are swords I've put through their (sometimes abusive) paces, and I always feel a fun bolt of energy rush through me when I put either to use.
Another is my Hanwei Bastard Sword. It isn't a lethal lightweight like the kanmuri-otoshi or the orchid, but more of a "say bye-bye to the bad-man" kind of sword. Plus, it is such an awesome sword for longsword drills thanks to the added weight and blade presence. Great for going slow and enjoying the flow. My Cold Steel Gim also gives a sombrely powerful feeling. I feel like it would hold up to anything, but I'm also worried at times I won't hold up to it haha
