Hello !! I don't know too much about sabers and swords like that but there's a saber which make me think . I found it in myarmoury.com, and according to the discussion it belongs to the King Henry VIII , but can someone explain me what was the use of that kind of sword in 1520 ? thrust? chop? or cut ? or all the above . I believe this saber seems closer to the langmesser or the bastard sabers which were used in the 1500's and early 1600's in the swiss-german-austrian area, but as i said at beggining, I don't know too much about this english saber . Hmm, in the point of view in the sword market I think looks like the Windlass German hunting sword but without the ring guard.. and my girl believes that looks like the Windlass Raptor sword ( a fantasy one), obviously not , but she force me to put her point of view .. Well that's all .. am going to the shower and go with my girl in her wonderful, woooonderfull shopping day (sarcasm , because she is here, push me to turn of the computer ) .. peace to all brothers .. see you Link to the picture : www.myarmoury.com/talk/download.php?id=1948

Can you give a link to the discussion, myarmoury restricts links to their individual pictures.
