I would say that this bow is at least #50 pounds. I made it using directions from ''instructables'' and it yielded a pretty powerful bow. I did shorten the tips of the bow because I thought his where too long and would slow it a bit. Here are the instructions to how the bow is made. He did however fail to mention that how much you bend the limbs will effect the poundage and I had to do it twice to get the higher draw I wanted. Other than that I painted the tips black the bow green and wrapped the handle in jute twine and the tips as well. www.instructables.com/id/SIngle-Piece-PVC-Recurve-Bow/
carbon: Sharpened one of my C/S H&H swords for the first time using an adjustable fixture I made. Went from a little better than butter knife to an even, polished, paper slicing edge. It's a slow process but it does work.
