I also recommend Tod. He makes a lot of stuff and it all looks good. From what I have seen he makes some of the best shields out there; however, I believe there are other makers. I remember seeing pictures a year or so ago of a custom pavise that was an exact copy of an original in a museum. IIRC it was made using all historically accurate components including the type of glue and I don't think Tod made that one.

Daniyal Steel Crafts in India make shields that are pretty popular in the Graeco-Roman reenactment community. Maybe they do custom shields too.

i love the shield people carry in crusades. It was good in length and covers almost all the body during battle! I wish I had 1 .. just for fun
