The right website is the one called Lutel Handicrafts, the wrong one is Lutel.eu. As for their products, I would place them at the same level as Del Tin, maybe a little better. A little heavier than they should be, great blade geometry not their first priority.

Great stuff, maybe the best made swords in Europe on an industrial/company level. I beg to differ on the opinions considering weight and blade geometry though, especially on the sharpened ones; but i like 'em with a little punch. Cant help to get a "wrong" feeling everytime i hold one of my remaining Albions or, especially, my surviving ATrim. Some guys dont like their "ricassoed" blades, and it has been reported that they WELD on the threaded rods on their tangs, which could be considered WRONG. None of mine has ever let me down through cutting, or, the blunt ones, on sparring - but there are definitely HARDER blades on the market for sparring... ;-) Oh, yeah, and they look much too perfect, a little like Albions. Anyway, you HAVE to do orders at Lutel Handicrafts MANDATORY-wise! The other guy is pure fraud...

The weld a case of it done right and the blade ricasso design a minus in my own taste.

I only have one, but have handled many visiting KOA. Very solid, nice looking swords. I agree with oldvesemir, "great stuff". Mine has held up to LOTS of cutting. Still rock solid. I'm pretty sure you can order them without the ricasso. They also come with a pretty nice scabbard.

Scabbard AND belt with hanger; different options on leather color & belt/hanger style as well! :-D Could be ordered without scabbard & belt, cheaper.

I should be getting a Scramasax from them in the next few weeks. Communication for me was the only hard part, but once I got a hold of them it was great.
I've held one of their longswords and it seemed like it was a solid value for the price.

I've bought a warhammer and roundel dagger from them. The warhammer was very (too?) heavy, it was attached to the wooden shaft with modern screws (=not historically accurate) and it had an uncomfortable, square handle with metal butt that dug into my wrist. I should have done some more research on it in advance. The roundel dagger was light, well-made and aesthetically pleasing. It wasn't as sharp as it should have been, but that's a common problem with almost every vendor out there, not just Lutel. The dagger's scabbard was decent. I regret buying the warhammer but I'm still very happy with the roundel dagger.
I've noticed big differences in quality and historical accuracy in Lutel's products: some of them look great, others not so much, so be sure to do your research before you buy. It's a trustworthy company though, and their prices are okay. I would buy from them again.

I ordered a bastard sword from them around....5? Years ago. And it's still one of my favorite pieces in my collection. I haven't done hard target cutting but from resharpening the blade after a lot of soft/moderate hardness cutting I will say I find the blade to be on the soft side, but certainly acceptable. That being said, she still rings like a bell and feels solid as a rock where construction is concerned. My only real gripe is I find the spiral leather wrap was slick for quite some time until it was work in a bit. The handling is an interesting case to me. The sword is very neutral handling, it feels on the heavy side when held static but once it gets moving it's a screamer. Balance point is around 3.5in from the center of the guard, giving it a very fast feel in the hand but it doesn't feel delicate either. Mine is the double fullered blade and it may be a consequence of the cross section but I find it to be a bit overly flexible overall, however I look at this sword in the context of being primarily for unarmoured dueling and find it to be adequate in that regard, though the design certainly favors the cut. There is very negligible distal taper but the balance is such that I think it isn't needed in it's case. Your mileage may vary on that regard though.
