Hi all, My coworker just got a seax that has the makers mark you can see in the picture. Does anyone recognize this? He said he believes it to be a Polish smith. If anyone needs additional pictures I can ask for them, just let me know which part of the seax you need to see.

No idea on the mark, but an overall photo of the whole thing would help tremendously with identification.

Added more pictures, hopefully that helps.

Tried a fairly extensive google image search and got nothing. I’ve never seen that mark before, and the seax looks like sever brands but there are features that throw off any specific reproduction I know of. Looks nice though.

Yeah, this is gonna be hard to peg down. It's very likely a custom job, which means there may not be much of it online.
Some other members here are more familiar with the smaller European makers, so I'll leave it to them from here.
Good-looking knife, though.

Looks like a Lech Budaj. Has an etsy page. Used to have a few in stock at times, but now only has create your own custom. The mark looks really similar.

Looks like one of Helle's viking style blades.

Thanks all, I showed my coworker this thread and he says he thinks Lech Budaj is right. Love this community!
