New to SBG, thought i'd throw up a Hello.
I live in Louisiana currently, and own several weapons of the bang bang type but no swords as of yet. Hoping to change that here shortly, but I know pretty much not a damn thing about swords, maybe y'all can help with that as time goes on.
Due to years of martial arts growing up, and having a good friend from Japan, I fell in love with the whole Japanese culture from early on. Guess that's why my swords of preference are the katana and ninja blades.
Anyway, thanks for having me around. Hope to get know y'all a bit better and learn from y'alls expertise.

Howdy! Welcome aboard! I know little about katana. Euro swords, particularly Viking era swords, are my favorite. If you want to get into Euro swords, I'd recommend the Windlass Stiklestad Viking Sword, or the Ulfbhert from what I hear.

Welcome O Shotokan! Been chatting a few times w ya--been a right pleasure. As you know I'm a kat man. Love me the sleek stylings of Japanese blades from all walks of history. Welcome to the forum--you do know it starts with one ... But then you'll have to fill that multi tiered stand with sharp n pointies...
Looking forward to more tales from the bayou! Ouro

Welcome to the forum Shotokan. Early on my interest was in oriental stuff but has shifted to European gear. I still like oriental gear and have several pieces but somehow I connect more with the European gear.

Welcome dude. I too used to practice Shotokan. Assuming that refers to Karate.
I kinda like anything blade related. I hope to get a sword of every type some day. Katana used to be my go to many years ago. I still like them though
