Hello fellows .. I was thinking and searching in the web a sword similar to the real Henry VIII sword .. in this link there's the pic founded in the Royal Collection at Windsor Castle. tudorhistory.org/henry8/h8sword.jpgBut looking this sword seems like a cutlass , messer ..or falchion?? and there's a beatiful decorative fittings in the guard and ricasso!! .. i don´t know but seems short, strong and ceremonial too . So what do you think ?? .. where can i found like this one .. because i don't like the one which appears in the poster of the tudors series . .. in fact is the Frederick Barbarossa I sword designed by MArto and there's other ceremonial sword made by Windlass the ceremonial sword of the series , by the way , I've never seen it in the series Tudors poster with the MArto sword img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2007/10_04/tudorsDM2310_468x607.jpgAnd there's other with his tonlet armor, used in the Fields of the Cloth of Gold for foot combat , a two handed . www.whitbyhs.cheshire.sch.uk/archived/curric/history/alevel/henry8/fieldofgold/images/henry4.jpgthat's all ..!! peace

That sword is Henry VIII’s hunting sword. It was not meant for battle, hence its size. I believe there may be a bit more on this sword in Swords and Hilt Weapons edited by Coe.
