I hear they have a tendency to strip, etc. Did a search on replacement ones, but the threads are several years old. Where can one score a replacement?

Sweet. I'll be sure to pay them a visit. GF bought me a EMSHS sharp as a late bday present, it arrives in a couple days and wanted to have a spare one handy in case it strips. Much obliged.

CasHanwei used to give them out for free, well atleast when I needed to replace mine about five years ago. Maybe they don't anymore now that they can be purchased but I'd definitely shoot them an Email or Bpouge here a PM and ask before I spent $5 plus a ridiculous shipping cost to order one. Seriously the shipping is more than the cost of the nut, lol....
Seriously put it in a freaking envelope and if you must charge us the $1.30 For the stamped envelope. $10 shipping minimum from LG and $7 from KoA, outrageous!

Somebody give the thread size to enable the members to pick one up locally but doggone if I can find it now. I remember that it was available across the counter for pennies.

My fullered Bastard takes a 3/16 of an inch hex key so that's 4.75 in MM. I don't think you can find something to fit the pommel in a hardware store, I looked and didn't find one anyway back when I needed one.

That's the minimum price from my shipping service for a small USPS flat rate box... but, you can definitely save $ by either sending an email to support@lgmartialarts.com or through PM here or social media (IG/Twitter/FB)

I get what you mean regarding the service prices.
