I have the war sword and the last thing I would describe it as is whippy.

I've heard great things about the Warsword.

The Warsword has a reputation for being a pretty solid piece. I'm not sure about the Warden - it might have flex to it (given it's a XIIa), but I doubt 'whippy' would describe it.

I think there is currently only the 1 warder in existence atm and it's a prototype atrim blade so I expect a good cutter shouldn't be whippy

I got the last run of the 1060 series War Sword and has a hefty presence to it. I don't get any whippyness. You can wield it with one hand, not very difficult. Very strong in the cut and the factory edge is one of the best I've seen. I am interested in the new Craftsmen series though.
