Seriously lacking firepower (for now), so expect some upgrades and additions soon enough.

I feel like I’ve died and gone to 1911 heaven! Also great find, a Glock 19 with front serrations 😉 Don’t worry Crocc you’ll get more......there’s always a need for MORE guns LOL

Here are my 1911's
From 12 o'clock, working clockwise.. RIA officers customized by John Williams of US Optics Custom Colt Commander Sig Nightmare Carry, customized Kimber Warrior II, customized Kimber Eclipse II 10mm Custom built 2011 style pistol built by John Williams Kimber Raptor II
And with a couple of my revolvers....
Same as above but with a 6" 686-3 or - 4 (can't remember...) and a Performance Center .44 mag. Don't have either of those revolvers anymore, switched to Rugers.

Here's one more I have on this computer. More elsewhere on a drive, somewhere....
Has a Para Black Ops slide and barrel, and then the rest is all top shelf components sourced from a multitude of vendors.

Croccifixio What make is that double-stack 1911? solaris Any more pics of that John Williams custom? Armscor Tac Ultra Midsized 1911 in 22 TCM. It carries 19+1 40 grain semi-jacketed HPs at 1900 fps. solaris that is a very nice gun collection! I especially love those revolvers, and that 44 mag is a beast! Also, what work was done to the RIA if you don’t mind me asking?

Armscor Tac Ultra Midsized 1911 in 22 TCM. It carries 19+1 40 grain semi-jacketed HPs at 1900 fps. solaris that is a very nice gun collection! I especially love those revolvers, and that 44 mag is a beast! Also, what work was done to the RIA if you don’t mind me asking? The RIA was done by John Williams, with the following work: Smoothed out the whole frame Bobbed frame and main spring housing. On the officers model it isn't much of a bob job, but it did help a little. New trigger and trigger job. Complete polishing of all contact surfaces and tightening of the slide. New beaver tail safety blended into the frame, with a lot of work done on the frame to get rid of the rough edges and angles the RIA's seem to come with. New G-10 grips and a cera coat job. He may have done a thumb safety as well. Can't remember, had a lot of bourbon since I had that gun done.... Milled front strap for more tactile feel.
I think that is it.
The 629 V-Comp was a nice gun, but for some reason I can't make friends with Smith's. Have had lots of Smith's but never found them to work for me. Was about to give up on revolvers and then traded my way into a second year production GP100. 1988 or 1989 I think. That thing I can shoot. Laser accurate. People go on and on about Colt's accuracy, but I have only ever shot one python so I don't have much of a reference.
Since getting the GP100, I got my wife an SP101 which went to Gemini for a trigger job and a few other touch ups. Recently got a 1979 Police Service six which is just smooth as melted butter, and laser accurate. That is now my wife's night stand piece.... Her SP101 is her office gun. Also recently got a Chiappa Rhino 50DS which is pretty slick. I'll get some photos of them and post them this weekend. I am enjoying revolvers more and more these days.
