Asking my questions before I make any mistakes.

Hello.
I am currently in the years-spanning process of piecing together a full suit of plate armour. I'm not set on any period in specific and am mixing and matching different pieces that I take a liking to. Currently I own a pair of gauntlets and am in the process of ordering a barbute helmet and a pair of sabatons.
Since I'm only 19 years old (turning 19 in July, actually) I'm not really sure if I'll keep on growing any more. Which is why I figured that I'd start with my hands, head and feet since they of all things should not grow much more, if anything at all. I'm slightly more worried when it comes to my arms, however.
I'm not particularily muscular or well toned. It's not that it isn't there, but I'm an avid proponent of living the good life.
I've no ambition of ever obtaining bulging muscles on my arms and shoulders, even less so with the thought of it potentially disrupting my suit of armour. But bulging muscles should not be a necessity to be a competent weekend warrior, right?
My initial plan was to simply hold off on the armour until I was maybe 25-30 years of age and perhaps having found a shape of body which I could maintain by just doing my things. But I've realized that I really do not want to wait that long.
Impatience perhaps, but the thought of donning an entire suit of plate armour is one of my greater dreams/goals in life so far and it is within my grasp.
Perhaps I should request that the armourers make a slight increase in the size of the parts that I purchase in order to accomodate a possible future enlargement of my arms? If nothing else, I'll be able to fit more padding in there.
Another thing to keep in mind is the garments that go under the plate armour. A gambeson (I'm eyeing the RevivalClothing one, thank you for that one Tsafa!) looks like it isn't very sensitive to slight changes in body mass whilst the arming vest (pourpoint I think is the name for it), which is supposed to be a tight fit, might need replacing if my girth changes it's shape. I'll most certainly survive the re-purchasing of one though, should the need arise.
My planned calendar of purchasing looks like this as it stands now.
Cleared -Gauntlets
Currently -Arming Cap, Sabatons and Helmet. (Arming Cap is being sent home to me right now.)
4-6 months from now - Gambeson and Pourpoint. Trousers?
9-12 months from now - Plate Arms and Legs. (Ouch! Going to have to work like a horse to get that paid.)
20-24+ months from now - Breast and Back Plate. Perhaps the Gorget as well, depending on if we can see how it'll look when worn along with the helmet and breast plate.
After Receiving the breast and back plate - Gorget (if not alongside the plates) and Gussets of maille in the openings of the plate armour.
Once again has a distant dream of mine proved to be way closer than I thought. Provided that I can come up with the money to pay it all, of course.
Now that I look back at what I've written in this thread so far I can't really see what the real point to it has been. I seem to be answering my own questions as I'm writing them. Perhaps I should re-name the thread "The philosophies and worries of the aspiring warrior of weekend."
Nonetheless it's something I've been wanting to get off my chest and now it's been done. Comment however you see fit, some pointers, words of comfort or anything really would be appreciated.
Thank you for your time,
Mwab.
