Hey guys, It’s been a while since I last posted on the forum. We have been extremely busy, but would like to take this opportunity to thank our fans and customers for an incredible year, and for allowing the staff of to indulge, day after day, in our passion!
I would also like to thank our critics for helping us and motivating us to improve so that we can keep pushing the envelope. We are very committed in providing our fans and customers with the best swords on the market, and constructive criticism is certainly a motivating factor which helps us achieve that end.
that said, the continued support we received last year by our customers permit us to expand our research and development efforts. We have quite a few things planned in the near future.
All this aside however, the real purpose of this post is to say that I recently returned from my yearly research and development trip. This year, I chose to visit three specific museums. I had the opportunity to get a private tour of the collection in the Stibbert Museum (in Florence), The Museo Poldi Pezzoli (in Milan) and the The Royal Armoury (in Turin).
While all three museums were interesting and worth visiting (the collection at the Royal Armory in Turin is impressive), a late 16th century side sword at the Stibbert Museum was of particular interest to me (inventory 3965) as well as an Italian jousting armor (inventory 3495) dating from 1560-1580. The sword was made by Juan de Leyzade in 1570. The hilt was made in Italy while the blade was made by de Leyzade of Toledo . I took extensive pictures of both pieces.
Michael will be posting over 650 detailed pictures of the visit, including full length videos. Once on the server, we will post a link for you guys to download of view all the images and videos as we can obviously not post 650 pictures on the forum. For now, thank you guys again and hope you like the upcoming pictures……
