For a company with such a great product, they could get away with lousy customer service, but they don’t! Their service is one of the best, with a hands-on approach that’s better than any company I have done business with.
Everyone needs an indestructible ZT in their collection for when the semprini really hits the fan.

I just was introduced to these and they seem like great prices for 5160 steel and seem to be well made. Prob what blades should actually cost when brand names are out of the way. Of course not polishing a blade does help. Are these just novelty cool looking items or is there actual research and experience that goes into blade geometry and overall balance, build, etc?

They are said to be built like tanks and they look and feel so indeed. I didn't test mine. Perhaps ZT will even repair Oldvesemir's "broken" apokatana tsuba.
