Another Q: Any plans or thoughts about doing a Irish style Ring Pommel sword? I know you typically build well-measured on historical designs, but I’d love to see someone of your skill take an Irish style hilt and couple it with a more tapered Longsword blade. Maybe like an XIVa, XVIIIc, or most drool-worthy, your XXa style blades.
If so, I’ll start saving up. :P

Please send me some picture of a sword that you are intersting in in private message and I will tell you everything about it and I will inform you what can I do for you. A lot of types are similar but there can be some details that can be different and you must have some special technology to make it good. I put some new swords on my page. Maybe you will find there something for you.

Commented on the Youtube vid already, but it is a breathtaking piece between the sword & scabbard.
Eventually I may run out of ways to praise your work, but doubt it’ll stop me.

Really love these Castillon Group B swords. You are doing excellent work! I notice the balance is brought back considerably as compared to your original XXa single hander. Nice.

Thank you for your nice opinion. I work very long on this type. And the longest process is to make the ballance good in the lenght of the blade that we can find in two handed swords. It is specyfic blade and it is always great challenge for me.

Your XXa swords are some of my absolute favorite swords I’ve seen out there, anywhere. Your discussion about the progression towards ideal balance on the sword is encouraging, too. Gorgeous. I hope to commission one someday, hopefully soon.
