usually how badly dinged up are swords in this sale? are they just minor scratch and wear? Here was my experience with this year's S&D's - I picked up a Euro 7 and a Euro 10, and I compare with my Euro 13 and also a Hanwei-Tinker Longsword in the same rough price range as the Euro 7. Sorry for the lack of pictures, right now. I'll post them (probably) tomorrow evening.

Received the Dojo Pro 8 couple days ago, will do a mini-review later, but in short, blade has a relatively large defect along the mune's center line, which waver a bit up to the last few inches where it suddenly veer on one side and then follow the mune's edge up to the tip. Diamond shaped tip is also very misshapen, I see this as both problems being realted.
And the sword wasn't in the sword bag (it was crumpled in a ball in the middle of the box) and the saya ended up heabily scratched by the metal staples holding up the box. Neglect in properly packing the sword. Guess I got the short end of the stick for the 'scratch' part of S&D.
Still sword is functional.
