iron tiger forge is pretty good, i've had one of their dao and it was better then i expected, everything fit together well, I personally do like the plainer Liuyedao from them, its honestly not that much plainer then the one you like, but if you are really going for the more decked out look this one shouldn't be bad, the one i have was the tang dao and if you like that style it is a very nice sword, you could also look at the sbg forge direct laminated duandao, its about the same price after shipping and it looks quite nice, tho there will be a month wait time liuyedao kultofathena.com/product.asp?item=AC0421tang dao kultofathena.com/product.asp?item=BC0810forge direct duandao sbg-sword-store.sword-buyers-guide.com/product669.html |

The tang dynasty dao is tempting without a doubt... It is such a good value on KOA right now, I wonder why they would be selling a nice sword like this for such a great deal? I am certainly considering it... it definitely has a nice charm, but I really am worried if I'd be more happy just spending the extra 140$. How is your tang dao? Do you think it is a steal at 400$? i got it 2nd hand for cheaper, if you want it tho you can get a similar one from sinoswords for $295, there are also alot of other daos, there is a wait time since they are made to order but sinosword communicates well and its not too long of a wait, they are also on holiday until the 26th so it might be alittle bit longer wait, lots of nice jians and daos tho www.sinosword.com/Dao-Chinese-sabre.html |

This is the currently available Huanuo yanmaodao. Not long ago, it looked a lot more like the Dynasty Forge model. Even though SST calls this sanmei, I'm pretty sure it's simple folded forge welded steel. i got the sinosword octahedral han jian its great my god the wrap on that sword looks so crisp, nice fittings also. Do you ever have any trouble with the threaded construction? no trouble, ive been told its a threaded construction with a nut to secure it, it will be secure for a while Attachments:
