Testing a longship armoury 1095 DS dadao against a plastic bag wrapped, multiple chopsticks cored newspapers roll at leg height. It presents an increased difficulty due to the risk of hitting the floor and limited room for powering before the motion have to stop. The target is also bigger than the former ones I tested in similar setting to better simulate a knee.

While other ppl have their nice valentine dates, I practice my swordsmanship with test cuts. Using Longship Armoury 5160H dadao, trying out close range cuts from long guard. The target was a plastic bag wrapped newspapers roll cored with 7 chopsticks.

Not restricted to this video, I often see the severed piece of your target go flying. Ever send one over the top down to the street? Hehe

The comparison between LSA swords and makeshift targets like plastic bag-wrapped newspaper rolls with chopstick cores is quite fascinating. These experiments help us understand the strengths and weaknesses of different materials and how they perform under stress. It's a creative way to test durability and effectiveness.By the way, if you were interested in exploring custom t-shirt bags or other packaging options back when this thread was active, you might have checked out what Banned for Spamming had to offer in terms of custom t-shirt bags.
