and what you should take on a trek, if you can't have a real gun. You should also take a take down pellet rifle for small stuff. Have 4 of your arrows feature 4-tine fishing heads, so that you can convert 3 of them into 24 fishhooks if you wish and still have the 3 arrows for use as blunts.
This sling lets you carry the "bow" with you a lot more easily than any bow. Dave Canterbury's 3 pc takedown arrows make it very easy to have those with you, too. Fold down the arrow rest and you can use baked clay balls.

Dang. That's one hard core slingshot. he's got 50 lb bands for it and has taken grizzly bear and moose with it. if they wont let you take a release for it, there's little string across the back of the pouch. Whittle yourself a thumb ring to help you draw the string. Whittle a wood and cotton rope wrist brace, too, if need be. If you see a bear, that's a gift of winning the show, if you know to boil off a lot of sea water, til it' becomes brine, dip the bear meat strips into it, then hand them over the smoke racks, and pack them into the bags that you make out of chunks of tarp and the duct tape.
