Thanks for the heads-up and review link.
Do you know where to buy or preorder? I didn’t find anything on Amazon or by Googling...

I’m so on this.
Sad it isn’t up for preorder already on amazon. Have to bookmark this so I remember to pick it up when released

Rebecca Glass, who wrote the review, said she will post where to buy when it is available. I will post as soon as I know.
But I would bet Amazon, since his fiction books are all there.

Looks like it may be another day or so. Mike just posted this to his Facebook page:
"The cutting mechanics book will not be released today, due to problems on Amazon's side. Tomorrow is a strong possibility, and very late tonight is also possible, but not likely. It is also possible that they will drag it out into next week."

The guy with the sword on the book cover is probably Hans Talhoffer, there exists a very similar drawn portrait of him:

The illustration is from Hans Talhoffer MS Thott.290.2º, though I don't think there is any indication that Talhoffer himself was supposed to be the one in the image.

I'd bet because of the pronounced mouth region and the winning role.

Hey Aikidoka: found the Easter egg on page 42. Cool!
Thanks again for alerting us to this book. It’s exactly the kind of advice I’ve needed, not having instruction available where I live. My backyard sessions are going to be much more directed, and hopefully more effective. Plus now that I have it in hand it’s just a well laid out book and I’m glad to support more of this quality content getting out there.

This book might be good and all, but I'm saving my money for the first edition of Tiger Mikes guide to booze and hookers.
