This more for the future as I won't get another chinese blade than my hanwei oxtail dao but in the distant future i want another nice battle ready jian and and another type dao .So i wanna ask if there are any decent custom makers available. or is still the best to go with mass producers like hanwei huano and dynasty forge?

Not much choice for chinese really.. jkoo/sinosword makes usable customs but the fittings seem extra meh (you get what you pay for though). That's why I forked out for one of the forge direct swords, from Zheng Shi forge (same forge ronin uses) they have a bunch of stuff listed @ : www.zs-sword.com/en/index.aspxzhengshisword.en.alibaba.com/If you're obscenely rich there is this mastersmith www.lqzwdj.com/aboutus.asp EDIT: Thought this was the guy charging 10,000...nope. still a ranked smith though. |

dalamar Thanks a lot for your Reply. Yes I have already thought that there are not much Options for chinese swords out there. I will try to make the best out of the Options that there are available  |

Less than 200 for a historically accurate Han Jian before shipping. Shipping is about $ 50-60
We got 2 of these and the sword is awesome.
