Just ordered one from MRL. Been eyeing it and the Classic Medieval for a while. Figured I'd go with the Euro since it's on its way back out. Will be about 8 weeks before I will be able to put hands on it but I'll try to get some impressions or a review up when I do.
Edit-Ended up switching my order to the Classic Medieval. Really was looking for more of a type X kind of iconic crusader blade. I know it's big and heavy but I have other blades that aren't. Was also looking at the Del Tin Sword of St. Maurice. The Windlass was less of a commitment for what probably won't be often used.
Still would like a single hander for sword and buckler. May grab a Euro as well in the end.

Finally got around to slicing a few pumpkins with it the other day. It's kind of a brute but a lot of fun. Overall impression is that it's a solid, sharp beast of a sword. MRL put a good edge on it, similar to kult of athena, maybe a little sharper.

Nice! I had been eyeing that sword for a while, but the weight being a one handed sword put me off. Even though it's on it's way out, I'm glad it lives on as the Acre Crusader Broadsword. Glad to hear the edge was sharp. When I bought my Stiklestad the edge was very uneven. Certain parts would cut paper no problem, but most of it wouldn't come close. Doesn't mean the dull parts were really dull, my local private emergency room knows that, as does my index finger. I did end up having my local gun store redo the edge. Apparently that was the highlight of their day, as they still talk about the dude with the viking sword needing it to be resharpened. Museum Replicas even gave me a refund for the sharpening due to how uneven it was. I'm really glad you like your new sword.
EDIT: I just realized it's the Euro going out, not the Medieval. Still, I do like the look the the Acre.

Wow, nice, Bryan.
It definitely has me interested in more single handers, but stands well enough on its own.
