Hello,
I have Frostmourne manufactured by Epic Weapons and I have a couple questions about it:
1 - The sword has a built in authenticator (Game 2 Gear) but I broke my device that allowed me to use it. it is a RFID device. Anyone knows if there's another way around to authenticating it?
Epic Weapons is no longer in business and Blizzard entertainment told me they couldn't help with it.
2 - In the event I would sell it, does anyone know what the median price would be correct for it? I mean it's a limited edition sword and it's quite recognizeable and since it cost me close to 700$ I wouldn't even think of any price below that.
Just to get an idea.
Please let me know if there's a better forum to ask this.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I am not into that. If you decide to sell or possibly test the market post in “Classifieds (non-business user)” with photos.

Hey coixo. Here's the problem with the G2G reader that came with it. Since it's tied into the website of a (semi?) defunct company, I'm not sure it will work too well, looking at comments on youtube videos. Granted, this is just research I've done on my own there. If their site still works, you should be able to pick up a generic RFID reader and use their software, but there's no guarantee that it will read the chip. Unfortunately, I've seen certificates of authenticity for Frostmourne and Doomhamer - and they don't have the individual collectable # on them, only on the chip... not so great a design. So the CoA doesn't add much to the value. I would think that you could sell it for a minimum of 800$, maybe more than that, because it's been out of stock for a while now... and there will always be people around who want one just to hang on the wall, and not pay the 1000-1200$ that I've seen them going for elsewhere. (Of course, there's also MUCH cheaper replicas that look almost as good. So it's a gamble if you hold onto it too long.) I'm not sure there's a better forum dedicated to this sort of thing... I saw a strictly aesthetic collector's forum once, if I can dig through my history and find it - that would be ideal to ask what you're asking there rather than here.
