Actually it's been a threesome with Millie and Lady Lathe. Here's a sneek peek at the fun I've been having with the milling machine and lathe. One thing I've learned is how easily this 9260 hardens. Give it any heat and it just snaps into hardly cuttable mode. I have to keep it drenched, and still have some trouble. I'm just so stoked especially to be able to do fullers that don't wander all over the place. YAY. Also the amound of time I spent cutting out holes in the steel, with hand files and drills etc. This work still burns up some hours, but I'm haveing a lot more fun. I want to get some product up for sale, so I'm doing 4-5 of each thing at the same time - pommels, crosses, blades etc. Hopefully I can save some time that way.

You are one lucky SOB to have access to such tools. There is nothing that can compare to a bit of precision machining, when it comes to creating consistant quality in fittings.
