It's for when you really want to make sure someone is dead. Stab them, then let off with both barrels....

Well, I mean, sure, you can go with something like that... Or you can make sure they're definitely dead with this: That, my friends, is an 18.5" short sword mated to a six-shot pinfire revolver, manufactured by LeFaucheux of Paris. Or, if you prefer something with a bit more reach, there's always this Belgian 1866 cavalry saber/pinfire revolver combination:

I've also always been partial to these: Only one shot, but with that monster blade... you could miss all day and still be armed to the teeth!

Well, if we're talking favorites, I've always been rather fond of this little guy: The broken blade from a Napoleonic cavalry saber grafted to a pepper box revolver. Not as "practical" as the others, but something about it just tickles me.

Until I can find (and afford )a Webley bayonet revolver, I guess I will have to stick with this training model

A somewhat suicidal fabrication project I keep tucked away in the back of my brain is something along the lines of a spear/powerhead hybrid.

I have an idea including a taza rapier and a gatling gun! I have a question, the gatling gun is crew served, does the gunner or the crew use the sword? Or they both grip it and charge? Hahaha
