This is one of my first homemade creations i made for one of our forum members. I have made a few swords in the past but this is the first one I've finished. It's not 100% complete due to the fact i'm selling it cheap as its one of my first few and im still learning. It's no Cheness but im happy with how it turned out and it sure cuts. I know there are many things about it that most or all of you would point out that is poorly done or should be changed but i figured it was a starter for me so i'd love to hear any " positive " ideas or criticism any of you have for me Hope you all like it. Overall length 40" Blade 29 1/4" Reverse Blade 16 1/2" Blade Thickness 1/4" with a very slight taper to tip Blade Width at Tsuba 1 3/8" The handle is sandwiched wood bolted on and epoxied with a leather wrap. Here is a brief outline of how it all went down from start to finish ( and yes i know im hack ) After using the final product im very happy with how it handles. Im a bigger guy so i can handle a heavier sword but its sturdy as all get out and packs a mean punch.

yeah its electrical tape lol didnt have any leather glue or thread to do it right but i wanted to see how it looked and felt. Im still noob so yeah i do some things very hack. But ya gotta start somewhere oh and its a temporary handle cause im not sure if he's keeping this handle or not, so i didnt wanna glue it all up.

I like the utilitarian finish and simple design. It's rather elegant in it's stark simplicity. The only thing I would do.... is give it a more wicked tip as this one almost resembles a spatula tip. I want piercing power!

You did a fantastic job! I would love to get more details of the sword, maybe the metal used and how you heat treated it.
