Just felt I'd drop that. I've been waiting to get my hands on the longsword and bastard sword for so long. Maybe now is the time.

If you are on the fence I would NOT wait... we (CAS Iberia) are already sold out of the long sword and the fullered bastard and EMS aren't going to last much longer either. Blake

I love me those H/T's. I am trying to fight my urge to get me a Norman. Quick! Someone talk me out of it! The Norman is the most underrated arming sword in the market out there, dollar for dollar superior to pretty much anything in terms of construction, distal taper, and overall aesthetics. Its fittings are complex and underappreciated. The blade itself is spectacular. You would do well not to buy one. How did I do?

They both could use a little customization, but they are easily the best production swords I've handled - maybe even beating the VAs I have in some cases. There's a reason they're perpetually sold out.

Since the fittings are stainless they probably won't take the bluing very well, anyone know what materials u can plate swords with, I know gold is an option but idk if that's what I would want, copper and bronze possible?

I have two H/T's - the fittings for both are stainless (non-magnetic). bfoo2 has one and it ISN'T stainless - I suspect his is an older model but since we both got ours used there is no way to verify
