Musashi Katana 1060 Carbon, CAS hand and half, and cold steel Colichemarde Dagger, the Katana has a slight fold in the edge and a slightly lose handle. Doesn't appear to compromise safety, or operation. But I am sure a serious swordsman wouldn't like it. The hand and half works fantastic, and the Cold Steel dagger came nice and sharp. CAS Hanwei really does make solid pieces. Now considering I have used the Katana as a Machete, and cut coconut. I think a tiny fold in the edge, is actually pretty good.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Nice little collection and funny clips. Do you plan to use a mace against a tatami mat, perhaps with a shaved forehead?

Hello, nice to meet you. Hahaha That's a good idea. I just started getting into swords, about half a year ago or less. Before, that I just had cheap decorative swords. And one stainless steel, Katana that has held up surprisingly well over the 13 years that I have had it. Some stainless steel swords are functional, to a certain extent. However, it is a gambling, first confirm it isn't a rat tail tang.

Welcome to the forum ell198679. Musashi makes a good sword for the money and will give you good long service with soft targets. Never tried coconuts with mine, nor do I intend to, that’s a machete’s job. If the folded edge amounts to a rolled edge that in all likelihood can be put back into shape. It looks like you are enjoying your new hobby.
