Has anybody of you experience with the Hanbon Forge Huan Shou Dao?
I am thinking of purchasing the Huan Shou Dao from Hanbon Forge and want to gather some information about the swords of the company if there are any?

I have several swords from Hanbon, but not the one you are looking at. I like them, but all are relatively inexpensive. They tend to be pretty and well constructed, but are obviously the product of an assembly line system.
Generally, the pattern welded steel is uniform and well crafted with no visible imperfections. With a quick polish with Mothers Mag, I think they look really good. The spring temper seems good, though I have no immediate way to test hardness. Tang construction for each is safe and appropriate. Every blade is uniform, straight and symmetrical with the appropriate profile and distal geometry. No geometric yokote, though.
The fittings on mine range from cast alloy to upscale painted brass. The fittings always look nice and fit snugly. Woodwork is also nice, even on lower-end "hualee" pieces. The swords with a grip wrap (for me, just katana) have nicely uniform and correct pattern.
All that said, corners were definitely cut in craftsmanship. Upon close examination, the various shortcomings become apparent. For example, the samegawa panels are a bit too narrow, allowing wood to show between the ito wrap. Basically, a non-sword person would never notice, but it would be exceedingly obvious to an enthusiast.
Also, I've always had good communication with the company. Fast reliable shipping.
