Is it just me or have the forums gotten a teensy bit more volatile in the past few months? Yea man. World's going to semprini and everyone is angry about it. Being an angry douche is popular again

Sorry guys. I couldn't care less about the grammar/spelling. The lack of punctuation and paragraph breaks made it painful to read. I felt bad because he obviously was frustrated and wanted to share his experience but I couldn't read through it. I was just trying to be helpful.
And always count me in for a group hug.

Problem with text-based communications like the forums is that its hard to convey tone. I generally assume that the average SBG member is generally a good person - an assumption which, I should point out, has held true for the past few years. Any text I see which comes off as negative, I just chalk it up to miscommunication sarcasm or humour and move along. Always go with the most positive interpretation possible. Except for Kelly - he's just a weird one :D ~~ On the topic of the original post - good to know. Never heard of this company before, but still good info nonetheless. Also good to differentiate them from LG Martial Arts

America's friendliest sword forum now has a special on face******gs on Thursdays. Y'all come back agin soon, y'hear. SBG: "Shouting 'Bout Grammar" Don't have much to contribute to the topic (never even heard of LG outdoor). I don't often shop much in the states- you'd need more than a $35 off to make me pay $50+ international shipping to Canada. In general I've heard only good things about KultofAthena. Although I did notice of late that their shipping costs have gone up significantly. Not sure if it's just for international shipping or across the board. They seem to have invested quite heavily into Deepeeka stuff. I'm not sure how well that'll sell, and I'm worried that they'll take a big loss (and inevitably that cost will be passed to us consumers as either higher prices or inferior service) So, I got a shipping estimate for a sword from Australia. $65 CAD. Shipping of a sword from KoA is $70-80 CAD. We turn our nose up to Deepeeka, but the reenactor community probably does okay with that stuff. Some of their Deepeeka stuff is sold out or back-ordered, so I guess its working out

Is it just me or have the forums gotten a teensy bit more volatile in the past few months? Not just these forums. I've seen it pretty much everywhere, though it has also lead to some pretty amusing baiting, such as the one patched in below. CAUTION: READ TO THE END OF THE QUOTE"Like it or not, he's the man in charge. And I have to say, so far I agree with almost every decision he has made. Some of those decisions have been very controversial, and I know a lot of people don't like him, but he has surrounded himself with some of the greatest minds and most talented people in the world. I'm confident that history will judge him as one of the best, if not the very best this country has ever seen. And there's absolutely no denying his amazing leadership qualities. I know not everyone is going to agree with me, but these are just a few of the reasons I LOVE BILL BELICHICK! GO PATS!"

Just to clarify, LG Outdoors in NOT affiliated in any way, shape, or form with LG Martial Arts (my business/me) Luis Garza, owner LG Martial Arts Busted LOL! Ha ha... lol. Seriously though, that's not my store. As for a group hug, I don't know... might have to think about it.

No. No we don't. You don't have nearly enough venomous creatures. I'm not sure how you lot cope. As for the group hug maybe if we all wear a Viking man-dress, otherwise known as a tunic, we can get Gunnar to join in...

Sorry to resurrect the thread, but OP seems to have deleted his original post in here about why we should avoid this seller. Can anyone fill me in on why we should beware this seller?
