I can't find a Spanish military match for the hilt. Doesn't exclude this from being some sort of court sword, but there are no recognizable seals in the pics. www.catalogacionarmas.com/articulos.asp?tipo=bThese are articles on Spanish official swords by Juan Calvos if you want to hunt some more. Sword Forum International has some Spanish contributors who may be able to help you.

I suspect that it is a court sword and has had the guard plate removed judging by the file marks and irregular corners.

Could you give us some information concerning the sword, specs, history, etc.? can u identified that symbol/logo ? at the other side writed "toledo D ano D 1878" Can't really make out the details of the ensign on the seal, but it has the right look for the Spaish Bourbon seal. Pgandy makes a pertinent observation that it does appear as though a garde, faceplate was cut away from the hilt. Have had people tell me that the Carlist Wars of Spanish succession had many nobles expressing their rejection of the crown by defacing their articles of state. The defacement is an historical interest, but probably detracts from the value of the piece. This is speculative. I have no proofs to provide you.

i gonna sell for €5,000.. that ok? Probably about 500 would be more reasonable. Even then that might be iffy because it might not have any pattern ID.

Hehehehe...
Try Euro 250. There is a scabbard, but the all important shell plate is cut off. Intact, I see these pieces of that period go for around Euro 450 in this state and with full gild, in superb A class state, for Euro 750.
