Yep nothing wrong with cap and ball Indeed. I wish I could find some thicker and/or tighter percussion caps for my Army: the ones I use fall off and jam up the cylinder when I'm shooting. My brother was using wiring insulation to keep them on, but that's kind of time consuming. And... a little off topic perhaps, but still on the subject of cap and ball:

Why don't you just squeeze them closed a little bit ? That's what I do with my caplocks.
