What are you planning on using them for? they certainly look great but functionality is dependent on what the intended use is.

i probably wont be doing any full contact sparing, but it would be nice to know I had a helmet that would hold up

i probably wont be doing any full contact sparing, but it would be nice to know I had a helmet that would hold up They're about 14 gauge steel which is the average for helmet reproductions and is actually thicker than most plate armor which sits around 18 gauge. So they're probably pretty solid. I'd say its worth a shot especially since they're custom sized, thats really important when it comes to online suppliers like these.

When sending in head measurements include whatever you intend to wear under the helmet. Mine feels good with arming caps but a no-go when mail is added. I can adjust as I have three arming caps all of which a different thickness. It works out to be 2 of the thinner caps + mail, or the thickest - mail.
