It has already been cut out and the curves forged in the fuller cut in. Still have a long ways to go. The blade will be 24 in, handle 17in. Being made of 1080 steel it will get a spring temper.

Looks like a serious slasher. And a 17 inch handle? BEAST! This is being bookmarked!

Very wicked. Reminds me of the lhang from the LotR movies.

Nice! P.s. Is it elfish, or elvish?

Tolkien preferred "elvish", but I think the "correct" spelling is actually "elfish"....
And yes, can't wait to see how this turns out! Great lines so far.

Elfish looked wrong to me but I looked it up, it's the proper spelling.

Yah, speling be danmed. Elfes is the much older spelling for Elves and we all know who Elvis was.

Could always say that Elvish would imply that it's made by Elves and that Elfish implies it's an Elf like sword.
I would be fine with a pixie sword, tbh. Sounds kinda badass

People gonna suggest "Manic Pixie TinkerBell Magic Dust Sword" I prefer naming it Cerebrus Slayer?

Why stop there? I vote for "Manic Pixie Dream Girl Sword." Hey man, if he made a sword design that fit the bill for that name, I would actually be very tempted to buy it. There is something about a frail, elegantly designed sword that's very capable of incapacitating a fully grown beef cake of a man that I just find alluring. Like watching a tiny woman beat the semprini out of a body builder, I would need to have it.

I would buy a pixie sword in a heartbeat...
Might pay for it with fairy gold though.
