A photo would help. However, do bear in mind that these days the vast majority of swords made in Toledo are cheap, purely decorative souvenirs. Even if it's genuinely from Toledo, that doesn't really mean anything on its own.

I would say that's a genuine modern souvenir, indeed quite possibly from Toledo. Some decades old, not centuries. Nowhere near the worst of its kind, though - this one would actually look good hanging on a wall, IMO. If you're curious about monetary value, if I'm right it's pretty much worth whatever someone's willing to pay but I'd feel really bad taking more than $100 for it; something like $50-$75 might be a fair price. It's in the shape of a "colichemarde" style smallsword from around the early 18th Century or so - like this one - but the way the components don't quite fit together combined with the somewhat rough casting and the extravagant amount of sloppily applied and washed out decorative detail make it look modern to my eyes. PS. I could be wrong, of course! Not all historical swords are well made, either, and even the very best sometimes feature cosmetic flaws that would not get past modern quality control. But the flaws on this one look modern to me.

can you take a pic of the other side of the blade? It might have identifying marks/name of the blade smith

I was just getting ready to lay down what you sent me and you figured it out and beat me to it. Sword type is the rapier transitional, "Colichemarde". Toledo arsenal has been in the classic reproduction business since at least the 1850s. Started the collectors business by using up old parts for past military swords and passing them along for the general public. These 19th century repros were made with live steel and usually dated with the year of production. Modern day swords are are cheaper made and most are stainless steel, meant for display only, as stainless long sword blades are not as stable as carbon steel and may snap readily. With better pics this does apper, as MOK had suggested, to be an older reproduction with some etched embellishments that look fairly convincing, but the older blades would have bell engraved or stamped. Looks lite a very good reproduction. (Prefer that word to "fake" as repros are marketed as an alternative to antiques, not as part of criminal enterprise intended to delude dumb collectors; although, that's been known to happen too ;). ) Enjoy

Yeah, it's only a fake if you try to pass it off as something it's not.

I don't know if you intend to stick around or just made the account to find out about the sword but if it's the former (or even if it's not) welcome to the forum!
