Looks good! Seems Deepeeka is upping their game with a few new models. Weight and balance look good (especially considering it's a Deepeeka) and the overall construction and tang look well above Deepeeka standards.
Now we'll just have to wait and see if it holds up to cutting and if they got their heat treatment up to par as well. If Deepeeka keeps this up they'll be giving a lot of other sub-$300 European vendors like Windlass and Hanwei a run for their money. Especially at the sub-$200 price range. Lot of customization options could be done to this sword to make stand above the others. Lot banking on heat treatment and durability though.
Great review!

For the money it does not look too bad, make yourself a new grip and you got a winner. Looking forward to the test cutting after you sharpen it up.

Nice review, and thanks for bringing this model to my attention. I went to KOA to look at it and other Deepeeka models. Seems they've added quite a few new ones. I really wish KOA had photos of everything, though; many of the swords that sounded the most interesting to me didn't have any photos at all. Guess I'll have to check out Deepeeka's site to see if I have any luck.
Hope you like your new sword. Happy cutting!

Ive had one of these for a while now , while I'm not really a euro guy i don't mind it, balance is nice grip is uncomfortablly really square in the hands tho! My one came semi sharp but i sharpened it up some more with my belt sander cuts nicley and the edge seems to be holding, not that I've cut any hard targets just some water bottles and a couple of tatami mats.
