OK, I feel I'm obliged to defend them.
They actually made 3 guards and 4 pommel wax models for me to pick. Note that those are not CAD models but actual hand carved wax positives. I like to show the pic ,but maybe after getting the permission. I don't know many swordsmiths and how responsible a well-reputed swordsmith is, but what they did is very touching to me.
As for the blade, I'm sure there is a way to improve if it is about the thickness or geometry. maybe by further grinding it or making better taper? II'm just guessing but I will stay positive.

update: I was told the weight will be between 2.6-3.3 lb for this two-handed sword, which I feel fine.

I too looked into this company any while they look nice, after Mr.Driggers pointed out some glaring flaws I thought to myself, if im going to spend like $1400 on something, mind as well save up another $1900 and get a product from someone I know I can trust that i know will be amazing as my center piece instead, I'm sure the sword you bought will be nice and they do have good customer service so good luck with your purchase.

You could get the pommel and guard send them to me and I could make the blade. Mount everything up. Oak is one of the worst woods to use in a sword handle, yes it is hard but it cracks easily.
